Qualifications & training:
Beginning with a career in retail, quickly moving into management and finding a forte in Human Resources was paralleled with a curiosity and desire about finding out what makes us tick. Specialising in learning and development the plunge into coaching and then dive into psychotherapy seemed natural, the results that followed naturally rewarding.
Having studied Neuro Linguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy for a number of years, as Practitioner, Master Practitioner, Coach, Master Coach, Clinical Hypnotherapist and then becoming an internationally accredited trainer in both disciplines; accredited by pioneers and leaders in this field, Wyatt Woodsmall & Julie Silverthorn. The fascination in how we interact with ourselves and the world around us continues. Everyone experiences the world differently, not how it is, but more to do with how they are. These differences, when identified and appreciated can be the catalyst for the change that we want in how we are experiencing our experiences.
Holding this principle in mind I offer an eclectic mix and blend of therapies, styles and systems but first and foremost its about you. The quality of the relationship that you and I build, the rapport and trust that we have with each other enables us to do Whatever it takes for you to achieve your outcome.
Training, coaching and providing hypnotherapy and psychotherapy bring many different approaches and strategies that support my philosophy and mission of creating a world of choice, helping people to be the best they can be. Working within the ethical framework and code of practice from NLPtCA (Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy & Counselling Association) maintains safe practice for myself and peace of mind for my clients. All the training that I design and deliver are the very best in personal development, and also accredited for CPD (continued professional development) credits.
I bring an abundance of knowledge, understanding and appreciation as well as skills and strategies as a psychotherapist in training. And offer all of this with the knowledge, understanding and appreciation that you are the expert at being you.
